How does Memphis Senior Advisor source its facts?
Every regulatory statement cites the Tennessee rule chapter (0720-26, 0720-21, 0720-18 or 1200-13-01) or the agency page it comes from; cost figures come from CareScout's 2025 Tennessee release; population figures come from Census Bureau Vintage 2025 estimates; VA and Medicaid spousal figures come from VA rate tables and CMS's 2026 bulletin.

What will Memphis Senior Advisor not publish?
We do not publish figures we cannot trace to a primary source, facility details that are not in the state's or CMS's data, reviews, testimonials, or ratings of our own.
- No Memphis-specific cost median: CareScout's Tennessee release publishes statewide medians only.
- No memory care median: CareScout does not survey memory care.
- No assisted living ratings: neither Tennessee nor CMS rates assisted living, and we will not invent a score.
- No facility details from marketing copy or operator websites.
How often is the directory updated?
The directory is regenerated from HFC's quarterly bed reports (currently the October 2026 edition), HFC's facility listings (retrieved October 30, 2026), the monthly Facility Action and Abuse Reports, and CMS's Provider Information dataset (data as of October 1, 2026) whenever the fetch script is rerun.
Each listing page shows its source and data date. Page dates in our sitemap change only when a page's content actually changes.
How does Memphis Senior Advisor handle CMS star ratings and state enforcement records?
We show CMS's ratings exactly as CMS publishes them, labelled as CMS ratings with the data date, only for nursing homes CMS certifies, and we reproduce Tennessee's disciplinary actions as HFC lists them, with dates.
Comparisons on our facility pages, such as whether a home's staffing hours are above the local median or how old a facility's last listed survey date is, are simple arithmetic on the published figures, and each one states what it is compared against.
How do I request a correction?
Email advisors@memphissenioradvisor.com with the page and the correction; operators may request corrections to how their license data is displayed, but the underlying data comes from the Health Facilities Commission and CMS, so changes to it must be made with those agencies.
We correct errors promptly. Reader corrections about Tennessee rules or benefit amounts are checked against the rule or agency page before we change anything.
